2008 Bead & Button Show

Sunday January 6, 2008
Are you mulling over the idea of heading to the Bead & Button Show this year? If so, time to do some serious thinking about it because registration for the show starts January 15th. This year's show will be held at Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee June 1 through 8th. As usual, it will include workshops, vendors, exhibits, and other related events.

If I ever had the chance to go, I know my first thought would be on what classes to take. They have a long list posted already, which includes general education classes: various bead weaving stitches, bead embroidery, fiber work, stringing, loomwork, wirework, polymer clay, silver clay, metalsmithing, glass fusing, and lampworking. For more experience jewelry makers, they are also offering some master classes taught by big names such as Tim McCreight, Sonoko Nozue, Stephanie Sersich and Dustin Tabor.

You can find more details concerning the who, what, when, and where (don't need to know the why obviously) at the Bead & Button Show site.
