Happy 2008!

Tuesday January 1, 2008
In between relaxing and eating black-eyed peas, you may want to stop by and get some jewelry time in over at the Jewelry Making Forum. Here are a few of our discussions going on right now:

We go to trade shows as buyers all the time, but what about if you plan to go as a seller? What sort of booth ideas do you have for this forum member?

Another forum member has a similar question about booth arrangement and retail arts and crafts shows. Is it okay to put your jewelry up front and crowd the isles, or is better to have a walk-in type booth?

Of course, we are also talking about our New Year's resolutions and our life and jewelry goals for 2008.

One member has a problem with a young girl who keeps breaking her bracelet. Is it the design or the girl that's the problem?

With the cost of silver so high these days, a forum member is asking about a particular vendor and Bali beads. Do they have extra costs involve? Are there other vendors you can recommend?

Finally, one of my own goals for 2008 is organization, and a forum member is asking about this as well. Have you ever used those mini-stackable modules? Do you have any other suggestions for her?
