New Jewelry Classes

Wednesday November 28, 2007
With a new year (just weeks away - can you believe it!?) comes new opportunities to learn new jewelry skills, so it might be time to start thinking of taking a class or two next year. If you are looking for a class nearby, I have some tips for you in my article "Finding Local Classes."

You'll also find a lot of jewelry educational opportunities posted throughout the web such as the following:

  • Creative Metalworks: Located in Kensington, MD, this working jewelry studio offers all kinds of metal jewelry making classes. You can find course descriptions and class schedules on their web site.
  • Toscana Americana Workshops: If you want to get a way from it all - far away - then you may want to indulge in a trip to Italy along with a jewelry class or two. Toscana Americana offers classes in wire art jewelry taught by well-known writer, designer, and instructor, Sharilyn Miller. They also have a class in traditional Etruscan jewelry taught by Warren Feld, from The Land of Odds.
  • Linda Kline: If Italy is a little too far away but you still want to get away, consider taking one of Linda Kline's PMC certification and specialty classes in sunny Florida for the winter/spring of 2008. For details, contact her directly via email at lindakline9335@yahoo.com.
