Time to Make Ugly Jewelry

Admit it. Now and then we make some ugly jewelry by accident. Not all jewelry designs come out as great as we imagine they will. But, what if you could harness that ugliness and make it into something beautiful, like winning a contest?
That's just what the folks at Ladd of Odds are ask you to do if you enter their Ugly Necklace Contest. That's right. They want you to make an ugly necklace. If it's horrid enough, you could win a $992.93 shopping spree on the Land of Odds web-site. The Runner-Up prize is a $399.07 shopping spree on the web-site.
There still time to get ugly, but not a whole lot because the 03/15/08 deadline is approaching.

This is *so* worthwhile to do! I participated this past year, and I found that I learned so much about design principles that I never really knew in a personal way before
Might not be very easy for advanced beaders to do as we try and learn NOT to make ugly things because everything revolves around ‘balance’ and ’synchronicity’. Shall be a real Challenge! lol
