Extreme Silver Beading Wire

Sunday September 16, 2007
Sterling silver beading wire is back at the Soft-Flex Company, including a type they call "Extreme 925 Flex Wire." You may (or may not) remember awhile ago when they had trouble with some equipment and were not able to produce any more of the silver wire for awhile. Now, it's back in production and getting shipped out to bead stores and other retail outlets as we speak. According to the company's web site, they are filling those orders first before they will start offering on-line through their web store.

One of the interesting elements of this beading wire is that because there is a nylon coating over the silver, it's not suppose to have tarnish issues. And, because the silver is over strands of steel, it is flexible. It is a nice alternative to using sterling chain. You can slip on beads and let the wire show!
