Bursting With Jewelry Videos

Monday June 11, 2007
Because technology is providing more ways to get the word out on jewelry making, lots of folks are starting to show as well as tell how to make jewelry though videos. You can find a number of DVDs for sale now as well as free clips on line. Here are a few I found just surfing around the web:

  • Stari Girl Jewelry has a few clips from her recent jewelry making for beginners DVD. She sells the complete DVD for $24.95, and it runs 35 minutes long.
  • Wire-Sculpture.com was one of the first wire workers in the jewelry industry to create videos, and he has a number of free videos on demand now via his web site.
  • HGTV also has video on demand, which includes a number of jewelry projects from the old Carol Duvall Show.
  • Then there's the Karla Kam over at Auntie's Beads, which links over to YouTube.com for a pretty large selection of jewelry making videos.
  • Victoria Lansford has clips from her DVD on Russian filigree jewelry. I reviewed this DVD recently, by the way.
  • I know there are lots more out there, but these should keep you enterained for awhile.

My absolute favorite videos for learning silver and goldsmithing techniques and skills are by Alan Revere. They can’t be beat!
