Hi Tammy,

I’ve been a Luxe Jewels consultant for 10 months. I also sell my own jewelry at and blog about jewelry at .

Luxe Jewels Pros:

I’ve found Luxe management and staff to be approachable, flexible, innovative and willing to listen.

Their national press helps my business.

The new catalogue is a great sales tool.

Luxe jewelry is wearable, pretty and easy to make.

Luxe quality is good and improving.

Luxe Jewels Cons:

The $149 enrollment fee, while covering a lot of initial expenses and buying access to the benefits of that national publicity, is not the whole cost to get started. You need a stock of Luxe Jewels kits (because people are resistant to preordering online) and marketing materials like business cards and catalogues.

You absolutely cannot substitute items you have not acquired from Luxe in an emergency. They want to protect their brand quality, but I’ve had to cannibalize my stash of extra kits to get through a class. Luxe has always made this up, but when someone breaks the headpins in her kit …

Off the top of my head, that’s it. Please contact me with questions at nancy@greenlightwrite.com.

Best,
Nancy Kamp
