Gemstone Book Bargain

Found another bargain the other day and have to share! I was perusing the bargain shelves at my local Barnes and Noble when I discovered Healing Crystals and Gemstones: From Amethyst to Zircon by Dr. Flora Peschek-Bohmer and Gisela Schreiber for only ten dollars. It’s a hard cover book, and I found it in the touch-feely new age area. I’ve always been fascinated by gemstone folklore, so this book called out to me. It’s got wonderful full-color photographs of all kinds of gemstones and a fun “Signs of the Zodiac” section too. I know not everyone is interested in gemstone folklore, so for those who want some scientific facts, each stone entry has that too, stuff like chemical composition (E equals MC squared and all that), plus areas of the world where the stone is mined.
