Cleaning Your Jewelry Making Studio

Wednesday April 6, 2005
Well, I finally had to break down and clean my little corner "studio" the other day. I have basically two places I work on my jewelry, and normally, they are both always a mess. In my garage, I work on my glass and any type of messy metal work. Then in my family room, I've got one of those old military-style metal desks from the 1950s that I do my wire work and beading at. I keep it in the corner along with a book case stuffed with various jewelry making supplies. But, I just can't can't seem to keep my work areas clean. As I type this in my spare room/office/cat room, even my computer desk is heaped with piles of books, magazines, and papers. What about you? When do you clean your jewelry making studio/work area?
